Is Beef Boot Camp for Me? |
Okay, you’re ready to make that commitment. You’re serious about getting in shape this time. You want to beef up your exercise regime. So ask yourself the following questions:
- Besides walking from my apartment to my car, is this the first real activity I’ve done in a very long time?
- Do I have an existing injury that prevents me from doing the things I love to do like running, pushups and squats?
- Do I whine a lot, especially when being told to do something I know is good for me?
If you answered “YES” to the above questions, you may want to reconsider signing up for Beef Boot Camp at this moment in time. That doesn’t mean you should never come out and play with us in the future, but you should be in relatively decent shape (you should be able to jog up a flight of stairs without passing out), maintain a schedule of regular exercise (3-5 times a week) and while most of us have been injured in the past, you should be well-healed and fully recovered.
We’re not trying to discourage anyone from joining – far from it – we have lots of fun at Beef Boot Camp but we work really hard. We’re a team and if participation is hindered because someone can’t (or doesn’t want to) run, then everyone suffers.
If you answered “NO” to the above questions, you’re on your way! Continue on to the next set of questions. Ask yourself:
- Have I gotten all I can out of that treadmill?
- Is my workout routine about as fun as laundry day?
- After each workout, do I find myself asking, “Where’s the beef?”
- Am I in pretty decent shape but could stand to tone up/lose a few more pounds?
If you’ve answered “YES” to these questions, then what are you waiting for? Sign Up already!
