Although I have always worked out regularly my entire adult life, I have also wasted a lot of time at the gym or with other training programs that weren't challenging enough. Since joining Beef Boot Camp I am stronger, faster, fitter and enjoy my workouts more than ever. It is fun. Every class is different, for the past 6 months there have been no repeats (that must be the reason I’m still going to Beef Boot Camp). The Sergeant is so creative, it seems like she has nothing better to do but create new and fun exercise drills. The reason I don’t participate in other boot camps is because I hate jogging; Lisa incorporates plenty of cardio exercises in the class, without me being bored but tired and breathless. I get to do everything: cardio, strength training and body weight exercises. This is a workout for your entire body. I really feel like you do such an amazing job as a trainer and wanted to tell you I think you're great. I have found a workout that continuously pushes me--I haven’t plateaued yet! I’ve always been active but I hate the gym. To essentially compete in ‘Sports Day’ or do drills and obstacle courses that are always different, keeps it interesting, competitive and results-oriented. Other than the physical benefits, I really love the bond between the other Beef boot campers. I love it. I’ve been attending over a year and we haven’t done the same class twice. But it's not just the variety that keeps me going – though it helps. It’s Lisa’s ability to challenge me to push myself, and her ability to create an atmosphere in class that’s supportive and competitive at the same time. It isn’t just another exercise class where everyone ignores each other and is in a rush to leave at the end. We know each other, encourage each other, but really want to beat each other in the next race or obstacle course too. If you want an hour of fun, energetic exercise and a drill sergeant that will kick your ass, but with a smile on her face, Lisa is the person for you! She will have you in shape in no time. Beef Boot Camp was an awesome program for me. Lisa aka the “drill sergeant” was always friendly, motivating and enthusiastic. Plus, she encouraged you to push yourself outside of class hours - through weekly challenges and healthy eating. She also gave you treats and recipes to help you cook healthier. I joined Beef Boot Camp when it first started. Since I've never been to a boot camp before, I was a little hesitant. I have to admit I am not a morning person and the thought of working out was the last thing on my mind after crawling out of bed at this ungodly hour. Well, Drill Sergeant DeVita made all these worries disappear. Not only were her workouts fun, and what i would imagine quite original (Super Hero Day??) but I actually looked forward to doing these feats of strength every morning knowing that I was not just heading to some boring gym.
